FinTech Regulatory Sandbox is an environment for FinTech institutions to experiment their services and products with real customers, but within a certain size and time before launching and promoting widespread use.
Setting management framework on the application of FinTech regulatory sandbox of relevant Regulators who are subordinated to the Non-bank Financial Services Authority (FSA) and with the target of promoting the adoption, adaptation and innovation of technologies in the non-bank financial sector in accordance with the Cambodia Digital Economy and Society Political Framework 2021-2035.
Individuals and/or legal entities who intend to use innovative FinTech to provide financial products and services, which fall or may fall under regulatory purview of the relevant regulators under FSA must apply for and receive prior permission to participate in the FinTech Regulatory Sandbox in accordance with the FinTech Regulatory Sandboxes Guidelines of the regulators under FSA.
